Programs

At Trident, we offer a range of programs to fit the unique needs of our clients. For adults, kids and teens alike, we offer programs ideal for beginners, elite athletes, and everyone in between…

CrossFit

Used by thousands of  gyms worldwide, CrossFit is the primary fitness program for military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders.

“I like your gym cause it aint got no freetos,” a friend once said on his first visit to Trident. He meant that we don’t have  treadmills, stationary weight machines or mirrors. Instead, we have pull-up bars, barbells, kettlebells and wide-open spaces for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing. Our workouts are comprised of exercises that mimic everyday movements and situations.  A different WOD (workout of the day), which will keep your body fit and your mind engaged.

CrossFit programs are developed for scalability, allowing people of any fitness level and experience to participate. Everyone - adults, kids and teens alike – follows the same general program, simply modifying load and intensity based on individual ability.

CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Kids is a program for children 12 and under.

CrossFit Kids is not your typical kids workout. The program follows the same regimen as our regular CrossFit classes, delivering a fitness that is, by design, broad and inclusive. CrossFit Kids incorporates the same movements as regular CrossFit classes, scaling the load and intensity to the optimal range for children and focusing on their specific developmental needs—neurological, cognitive and motor.

CrossFit Kids is the principal strength and conditioning program for many young athletic teams and martial arts schools, and the primary physical education program for many home and charter schools. CrossFit Kids helps children to grow up healthy and strong and teaches positive fitness habits to help avoid the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity.

Booty Camp

Booty camp uses the same intensity and training methodology of CrossFit (it works, so why re-invent the wheel?), but without the dedicated heavy lifting or technical barbell lifts. Its main emphasis is on conditioning. Yes, it can still get you stronger, but we’re not honing in on increasing one repetition max strength.

It’s a perfect match for the ladies who are intrigued by CrossFit and the results it achieves, but may be a little reluctant to hammer out heavy deadlifts and back squats as part of their normal training regimen.

I hear of cases like this almost everyday from our athletes who have wives, girlfriends, co-workers, etc. who just can’t stomach the thought of CrossFit itself but want the same intensity. What a disservice it would be to that crowd not to offer an alternative fitness program that helps them get the same kick-ass results that CrossFit delivers. Trident’s boot camp is the answer!

SealFit

SEALFIT is an integrated training program developed by retired Navy Commander, competitive athlete and martial artist Mark Divine.

SEALFIT combines training for elite fitness, mental toughness, and “kokoro spirit” into a single program delivered through daily workouts, an immersion academy, a renowned 50 hour “Kokoro” camp, and a growing number of certified coaches delivering SEALFIT at CrossFit gyms around the country.

Trident’s SealFit program is led by owner, coach and mentor Chriss Smith, a former Navy SEAL, & Vic Hoyos, 28yrs in U.S. Army Special Forces Retired.

SealFit is a graduate-level program ideal for those training for the military or special forces, or elite athletes that want to take their fitness to a new level.
